Marty and Jean Gardiner had heard this lamented several times, and finally decided that they would open a store that would fill that need. After countless nights planning, visiting trade shows and brainstorming, they finally started shopping for merchandise. Whatever your tastes, Lake Gaston Living probably has something you want. Along with original art work of local artisans, they offer decorative wooden and metal signs, pottery, precious stone jewelry, glassware, soy candles, and of course, the most favorite souvenier of all...T-shirts. The key theme of the store is lake decor, but beachcombers can find a few items to enjoy also. On the Lake Gaston Living logo, you will see the words, "just enjoy it." That is what living at Lake Gaston is all about, enjoying the fishing, communing with nature, skimming the water on skis, boats or kayaks, or just kicking back on the dock in your favorite hammock. Entertaining friends is a major event for most area residents, and you can set the mood for your guests with special party favors and personalized items. One customer, that has named his lake house, purchased plastic cups personalized with the name to serve his guests...wonder how many end up in the suitcases going home! |
